Wie sicherlich einige von euch auch schaue ich morgens gern mal kurz bei YiGG vorbai und gucke mir an was die YiGG-Gemeinde aktuell für interessant hält. Das hätte ich mir heute morgen allerdings sparen können. Meine Augen brennen!!!!
Was ist passiert? YiGG erstrahlt (wobei strahlen wirklich wörtlich gemeint ist) im neuen Glanz. In den letzten Tagen erschienen bei Baynado erste Screenshots des neuen “Designs”. Ich habe allerdings fest damit gerechnet das es ein Fake ist da ich mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen konnte das YiGG nun in einem solchen Rütli-Design um die Ecke kommt. Ich habe die Ausschreibung nach dem “Designer” nicht gesehen, stelle sie mir aber wie folgt vor:
Führende deutsche Social News Community sucht arbeitslosen Bauschlosser zwecks Erstellung eines Templates. Erfahrungen im Sackhüfen, Eierlauf und Seilspringen von Vorteil.
So kann man sich irren, YiGG ist nun ein fehlermeldungswerfendes, unintuitiv zu bedienendes oranges Monster. Da ich aus Prinzip keine Monster fütter werde ich vorerst Abstand von Yigg nehmen.
An allen Ecken und Enden sucht man vergebens nach Funktionen welche einem den _YiGG Alltag vormals erleichtert haben. Das ganze Ding ist sowas von unfertig und buggy das man meinen könnte es wurde versehentlich ein Prototyp released.
Der ursprüngliche Link zu den Userprofilen wirft nun einen schönen 404er. Sorry, aber das ist ein Verhalten welches ich von der Webseite eines Kaninchenzüchtervereins erwarte und nicht von der führenden deutschen Social News Seite.
Das war wohl nichts!
Nachtrag: Wie ich grad feststelle funktionieren sämtliche YiGG-Buttons ebenfalls nicht mehr. Das macht ja auch Sinn, die Zig-Tausend Buttons in der deutschen Blogoshäre sorgen nur für unnötigen Traffic. So kann man die Performance erhöhen :-)

Dein Post spricht mir aus der Seele, das Design ist einfach zum davonrennen und ich glaube nicht, dass man sich daran gewöhnen kann bzw. will.
Prototyp:
Klar im Web 2.0 wird alles beta genannt, aber müssen die Funktionen, das Design und die Usability wirklich beta sein?
Meiner Meinung nach ist der Relaunch ein Schritt in die falsche Richtung, kann man nur hoffen, dass einer das falsche Template genommen hat und das richtige noch kommt… sonst wird das nichts mehr

Das neue Yigg sieht einfach unglaublich schlecht aus. Vermutlich wird es sehr bald von wikio überflügelt und in der Bedeutungslosigkeit versinken, was auch nicht weiter tragisch ist.

Ich finde das neu Design so wie viele andere auch echt billig und schlecht. Zwar ist das mit dem CSS ein anfang, doch man möchte doch nicht auf eine Seite kommen und sie als erstes umzugestalten. Sie sollten lieber verschiedene Designs zur auswahl stellen und dann die User anstimmen lassen. So hat man dann eins welches auch bei den Usern ankommt. Viele Grüsse, Christian

Erst Yigg und jetzt Webnews!
Ideen von anderen zu klauen scheint zur Zeit voll im Trend zu sein. Anstatt eigene Ideen zu entwickeln, klaut fast jeder vom jeden was das zeug hält. Und der letzte Clou ist Artikel Schreiben! Auch dieser Idee wurde wie es scheint vom OA (www.Online-Artikel.de) geklaut. Warum Artikel bei Yigg oder Webnews einreichen, wenn ich bei OA mehr für meine Arbeit bekomme. Da werden die Meldungen professionell verteilt wie z.B. bei GN un YN also Google und Yahoo! News
Und wohin das ganze hinführt, zeigen die aktuellen Alexa und Google-Trend-Statistiken.
Leute bleibt einfach bei eure Nische und bringt endlich eigene Ideen auf den Markt, anstatt von anderen zu klauen.
