Der ein oder andere hat vielleicht mitbekommen das meine standesamtliche Trauung mittlerweile schon fast 2 Monate hinter mir liegt. Nächstes Jahr folgt die kirchliche. Die Vorbereitungen welche man treffen muss sind wirklich enorm. Angefangen bei den offensichtlichen Dingen wie Trauringe, Brautkleid und Location über die weniger offensichtlichen wie Band/DJ, Location bis hin zu den Einladungskarten erwartet den Hochzeitwilligen jede Menge Arbeit. Hochzeitsportale im Internet können einem dabei viel Arbeit abnehmen.
Das Holzpritschen Weddix bietet eine Menge Informationen zum Thema Hochzeit und alles was dazugehört.
Beim betreten der Seite wird der Besucher als erstes einmal von jeder Menge Informationen erschlagen. Die Startseite des Portals ist mit Fotos und kurzen schwer zuortenbarer Texte vollgestopft. Man gelangt allerdings schnell über die im unteren Teil der Webseite plazierten Links in regionalere Ecken des Angebots in welchen es ein wenig aufgeräumter zugeht. Um die regionalen Hochzeitsportale zu erreichen sollte man sich im Alphabet gut auskennen, da die Links recht lieblos in alphabetischer Reihenfolge plaziert sind.
Hat man sich einmal an die recht eigenwillige Struktur der Inhalte gewöhnt, findet man wirklich nützliche Informationen. Der integrierte Shop bietet dem Bräutigam mehr Artikel als ihm lieb sind. Mein Tipp an dieser Stelle lautet besser ohne Frau shoppen :-) Von Autodekoration über Hochzeitszigarren bis hin zu Brautbechern findet man Dinge über deren Existenz ich mir bislang nie bewusst war.
Im Menü “Locations” findet man für Hochzeiten geeignete Locations sortiert nach Bundesländern. Dort herrscht meiner Meinung nach noch Nachholbedarf. Mein Gefühl sagt mir jedenfalls das es in Nordrhein Westfalen mehr als eine Kirche gibt.
Mein Fazit ist gemischt. Der Informationsgehalt der Seiten ist enorm. Leider hat die Usability darunter zu leiden. Ungeübte Internetnutzer, wozu ich die Zielgruppe der heiratswilligen Frauen in der Regel halte (entschuldigt mein Schubladendenken), könnten unter dem Aufbau schon ein wenig leiden. Der Quellcode macht mir den Eindruck das es ein gewachsenes System ist und verzeit somit einiges. Dennoch rate ich den Betreibern sich einmal Gedanken über den Satz “weniger ist manchmal mehr” zu machen.
PS: Der Verantwortliche mag mich doch bitte einmal bzgl. einiger Sicherheitsmängel kontaktaktieren.
